OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES

The OEM provides emergency management services for Marin County. This includes 11 cities and towns and over 300 special districts. Services include:

Coordinated emergency operations with local jurisdictions and organizations.
Written emergency plans. OEM creates guidelines for preparing for, responding to, and recovering from many different types of emergencies.
Local Emergency Operations Centers. When needed, OEM can create a local center to coordinate emergency response.
